AMBLER - The Wissahickon Trojans unleashed a relentless onslaught, steamrolling the William Tennent Panthers 35-0 to kick off American Conference play with a statement. The Trojans’ electrifying performance, fueled by a dynamic offense and a stingy defense, left the Panthers reeling under the Friday night lights.
The first half started cautiously, with both teams trading punts like prizefighters feeling each other out. Tennent scratched out a few first downs but couldn’t ignite a spark. Then, with 2:41 left in the first quarter, senior quarterback Evan Tolmie uncorked a pinpoint 15-yard touchdown pass to Dom Harvey-Sheppard, igniting the Trojans’ fire and staking a 7-0 lead.
