Wissahickon beats rival Upper Dublin for first time since 2012

UPPER DUBLIN - The streak is over. For the first time since 2012, Wissahickon defeated Upper Dublin.

The Trojans opened the season with a 21-16 win at Upper Dublin High School to snap a 12-game losing skid against their crosstown rivals.

“It feels great,” Wissahickon senior Jason Murray Jr. said. “They’ve been our rivals for a long time. It’s my senior year, so it means so much to me. All the guys played with purpose, played with heart, dominated both sides of the ball. Excellent coaching staff, great fan base, everything.”
