WHITEMARSH - Plymouth Whitemarsh and Wissahickon’s battle for first place in the Suburban One League American Conference Friday night had it all.
There were fourth-down conversions, fourth-down stops, two-point attempts, fumbles, blocked kicks and more than 700 yards of offense. When the clock showed zeroes at the end of the fourth quarter, more time was needed to determine a win.
Plymouth Whitemarsh quarterback Cole Reilly ran for a touchdown on the first drive of overtime before the Plymouth Whitemarsh defense stopped Wissahickon to secure a 33-27 win at Plymouth Whitemarsh High School.
